I am excited to announce that for the final phase of my Kickstarter project, I’m going to change things up a little bit. This is only possible due to the girls over at ‘Puzzled by Iceland’.

Puzzled by Iceland was founded in August 2010 by two Icelandic blonde haired, blue eyed moms, Þóra Eggertsdóttir and Guðrún Heimisdóttir. Whilst on maternity leave they decided to start a company so that they’d have something else to do other than talk about nappy changing. What started off so small has become hugely creative, and delightful. Puzzled by Iceland create fantastic jigsaw puzzles of Icelandic subjects, so that you can take a piece – or several! – home with you.

So how is this going to work? Well, as a thank you to all my most generous backers, you will now also receive a Puzzled by Iceland puzzle with your package. This includes current backers at Arctic Fox, Reindeer and Icelandic Horse levels, in addition to a few backers who have provided more than just financial backing (you know who you are!). This is a small token of gratitude for your ongoing support.

In addition to this, there will be a final package created – ‘Puzzled Puffin!’ – which will allow backers at other levels to increase their pledge (if they wish; no obligation, no salesman will call!) and get a puzzle also. This will be a puzzle of Jón Gnarr (Mayor of Reykjavík) as you have never seen him before!

There are only 10 days to go. This is already a huge success. I’m proud to be working with ‘Puzzled by Iceland’ to give my backers a special thank you, and provide something a bit different to other Kickstarter projects.
