Yay! We have done it! Iceland Defrosted will be published as a book. This is fantastic news; Christmas has come early this year.

A massive thanks to my sister, who put her money where her – large – mouth is and showed her support in a very substantial way, and to my daughter, who managed to put me over the funding limit despite being 18 months old and fast asleep in bed.

Takk Fyrir to the Iceland crew who are still weaving their magic over in Iceland – Einar for starting this whole thing off, and Daniel for being my concert going pal. Both have never doubted that I could do it. Einar is still planning stuff to get this crazy project noted.

A huge thank you to all my family, friends and new friends for making this possible. My wife especially deserves a big kiss. She is probably sick of me repeatedly checking my phone for the latest funding update!

However, I’m not going to stop there. There are still 25 days to go. I’m not going to waste them. Please encourage your friends and family to visit my Kickstarter site, and get involved.
